About St. Mary's
Our Catholic School mission is a function of dedicated and caring professionals including lay staff and IHM, Marist and Dominican religious.
St. Mary's High School is also a member of: The Thomas More Chapter of the National Honor Society; The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development; The College Board National Catholic Education Association; and The National Association of Secondary School Principals.
98% of St. Mary's graduates attend post-secondary educational institutions, including many of the most competitive colleges and universities in the United States. The graduating Class of 2007 earned over $7 million in scholarships and were accepted into more than 420 colleges and universities.
Currently, over 50% of seniors are in
college level courses. We offer college
level courses in Algebra, Calculus, Pre-calculus, Composition,
Pre-College Literature, Spanish, Italian, Psychology and First Aid
and CPR.
Our curriculum is student-centered and includes the following
Advanced Placement Courses:
AP Calculus, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, AP Spanish, AP
European History, AP U.S. History, AP English and AP Computer
Science.
Our curriculum is supplemented by the latest
state-of-the-art computer technology.
The entire school complex is networked and online.
In order to insure a safe learning environment, we are committed
to a zero tolerance drug and alcohol
policy. If a student is caught in
possession and/or using drugs or alcohol he/she will be expelled.
The school campus includes two gyms and two cafeterias that enhance
our "small school environment."
